Silent Terror: One family’s history of political persecution in the United States

“Psychological warfare is an FBI-CIA weapon directed not only against progressive individuals, but most importantly in the U.S., to suppress formation of powerful people’s movements of mass struggle. “Silent terror” unfolds the theory and practices of psychological warfare against this family and other Americans.”

“The FBI itself played a major role fueling the anti-communist hysteria of the 1950s.  ‘The thousands upon thousands of FBI victims never knew where the blow that felled them came from, bringing some an untimely death from mental stress of suicide.  Who to complain to, and against whom?'[15]”  -Silent Terror

Has our book been suppressed and censored in the United States?

“Silent Terror” was first published in 1988, but the book has never been published or distributed in the United States.  It has been very difficult for the average person to even know of the book’s existence.  Now readers have a genuine opportunity to become acquainted with our book, here:

Silent Terror: One family’s history of political persecution in the United States

The persecution remains in force, as my Social Security benefits continue to be withheld.  To date, I have received no response to my repeated inquiries:

My letter to Barack Obama

“Also on our minds are others in the United States who are under hidden attack.  We are with them in spirit and hope that our story, if it reaches them, may help overcome the FBI’s treachery.  We feel deeply about these matters.  We will continue to speak out for what we believe is right.”

-Arnold and Lauren Lockshin, political exiles from the U.S. living in Mosc0w

Psychological warfare has been employed by the U.S. government for many decades.  It was used against the Lockshin family (and many others in the U.S.), in the 1970s, ’80s and onward.  And it is still being used today.

  1. Thank you very much for making your book available to the public. As you well know, counterintelligence crimes are still being perpetrated against Americans by rogue intelligence agencies such as the FBI and the CIA – and possibly also by the quasi-governmental association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Units (LEIU), as well as by the now-vast shadowy industry of intelligence-security contractors.

Cointelpro is alive and well – just as it was during the J. Edgar Hoover era. Unfortunately, the government’s Stasi perpetrators now have more advanced technology and a more extensive “homeland security” infrastructure at their disposal.

Best wishes to you and your family. Clearly you were the targets of a cowardly and illegal campaign of extreme harassment by the U.S. government.

  2. Thank you for writing this book and for providing the PDF version of this book. I found it through fightgangstalking’s website.

Your courage and ability to free yourself of this bondage and torture is truly inspiring. I’m so sorry that you’ve had to go through any of it, though.

I hope the entire family is doing well.

  3. Dear Mr. Lockshin and Family,

A great “Thank You” for courageously writing this book and exposing the grave injustice happening to citizens in the United States.

It’s no wonder this information is being suppressed ~ another tactic in the unceasing war against transparency of U.S. government crimes. As you well know, those who would or could assist in the exposure of these counter-intelligence tactics being used across America remain silent: journalists, ACLU, Amnesty International, U.S. Congress. etc.

Justice remains denied. And, Americans continue to be harassed, tormented and tortured in their own towns, neighborhoods and homes in what appears to be nothing short of military-style “Psychological Operations” (PsyOps).

Just as with the original and illegal CoIntelPro (Counter-Intelligence Program), U.S. law enforcement, intelligence agencies and their private intelligence contractors appear to be, once again, out of control and without oversight or accountability. The fight goes on.

I am very happy that you and your family were able to flee such torment and find a safe haven. May you all be well, safe and happy always.

  4. Everyone should read your book, IMO. I’m not sure how we stop this — or if it’s even possible — but we must try.

  5. Dear Lockshin family:
thank you very much for writing your own experiences about persecution in “‘the’ land of the ‘free’ …”
As I am sure you are aware, nothing has changed
I had the idea about writing a book with experiences of various individuals who have been persecuted
I have included your book in my to-read list
Silent Terror: One family’s history of political persecution in the United States – 1988, by Arnold and Lockshin, Lauren Lockshin
    ASIN: B0030X6Y2W
seems to be out of print and none of the other versions I found are “text searchable”
Would print-on-demand companies print that book?

  6. I am so happy to finally be able to read your book. I am just a year younger than Jennifer and remember when this happened. It resonated deeply with me as I ended up a victim of the same psychological warfare and political persecution. It nearly destroyed my life and killed me. Decades later I am still terrified to return to progressive political activism. I’m still afraid to openly discuss my political opinions outside of safe company. I was eventually able to make a normalish life for myself, but only after a great deal of hardship and the psychological damage is permenent. Thank you for making this book available.

  7. You are lying your ass off. USA is not perfect and I am not crazy about the MIC but I don’t think Putin will be much better.

  8. Arnold, I’m desperate for help bc of this being done to me for approximately 8 years. I nearly died 3 times. I am dead inside. My dog was killed. So, if i have to live, then i must get justice for my dog. He was all i had. He’s everything to me. Trying to download your book, but having WiFi trouble. Could use your help, or at least – advice.
